All of our physiotherapy consultations at Active Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy are one-on-one, meaning your therapist will never be “juggling” multiple patients at the same time. You get our undivided attention when seeking treatment so that you can get the best results possible in the shortest amount of time. Furthermore, all hands on physiotherapy sessions take place in a private treatment room ensuring both confidentiality as well as the utmost privacy. If appropriate, patients also have access to our fully equipped rehab gym including pilates equipment, weights machines, treadmills and exercise bikes.

At your initial consultation with Active Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy, your physiotherapist will guide you through a personalised clinical assessment including a comprehensive history and physical examination to determine the cause of your problem. This allows your therapist to devise and implement the best and most effective treatment program possible.
Before undertaking this course of treatment, we will give you a detailed explanation of your diagnosis and a “Recommended Action Plan” which includes the recommended course of treatment for your condition and an estimated recovery time.
In addition to clinic based treatment, your physiotherapist will also prescribe techniques or exercises that you can do by yourself between treatment sessions, to allow you to be able to continue the rehabilitation process away from the clinic.
We are committed to providing concise, accurate diagnoses and implementing individualised treatment plans to treat the underlying cause of your problem, not just the symptoms. In many cases there is more than one cause of your complaint, especially if it is a chronic or recurring problem. We will ensure that you understand what causes your problem and the processes involved in your recovery so that you are both educated and actively involved – knowing how you can prevent recurrence means you stay fitter, healthier and more active for longer.
